Book Two, Content

The Long Line

Your dog has learned to sit in the previous lesson, Book One, “Basic Obedience Training”. Now we will go to the next step and you will be teaching your dog to Sit and Stay and then Down & Stay. Both the Sit & Stay and the Down & Stay means the dog will hold the those positions until another command or release word is given.

Book Three, Content

 Come and At Ease

Your dog is learning to come and sit in a specific place in front of you when called, “Spot Come.” We use the words “At Ease” to release him from this instruction.

Book Four, Content

House Breaking the young puppy

This teaches the young dog when and how to become house broken
 so that you can begin to relax and enjoy the puppy dog.

Establishing boundaries and good house manners for the young dog is great preparation for obedience training.

The Dog that jumps on people and furniture, etc.

This book is about finding creative ways to teach and train your dog that unrestrained jumping is not an accepted behavior. Dogs that jump unrestrained cause an uneasiness to those being jumped upon and can even be harmful to children and the elderly.
